200 subscribers!

While the actual count does change day by day (sometimes going up or going down), I think that it’s safe to say that Discreet Manila has crossed the threshold of 200 subscribers according to Google Feedburner, which handles this blog’s subscription feed. Yay! I’d like to give a big shoutout to all of my readers: thank you very much for supporting this site! :-)

If I remember correctly, it was back in January that Discreet Manila got a hundred readers, a little less than a month before this site’s first anniversary. That means that the first 100 came in the first 11 months while the next 100 joined in just 5 months. Wow! I’m really overwhelmed by the vote of confidence, guys! Thank you very much!

So, how long do you think before Discreet Manila gets 300 readers? I hope it happens before the end of the year. :-)

at a donut store inside a mall, a 40yish white guy said to me -'Hi there..' with a cheesy look, I just smiled back and said hi as well, i guess he didnt noticed i was with a girl-friend, but after he did noticed, he quickly walked away.
noontime while waiting for a ride, a car stopped in front of me and opened the window for me, i was the only one standing there and was clueless of whats going on..
i just thought that maybe the guy driver has mistakenly thought he knows or somthin, im actually more afraid of facing and talking with strangers in the streets.
cheers to the next hundred subscribers!

Just an FYI, Google Feedburner can only show you the number of people who read your blog using *their* services. That number doesn't include the folks who read using MyYahoo, PageFlakes, NetVibes, or those who subscribe directly to your feed using their feed reader of choice. So it's pretty likely that the real number of readers is a lot more than that. :)

Anon, not really. FeedBurner is able to determine the number of subscribers from known feed readers so I'm pretty sure that the number of subscribers is quite accurate. Just read up on their methodologies. :-)
